XF 3.0D losing Coolant. head scratch time, my 2010 3.0D losing cooliant, drops about 1.5L in 12km, can sit in the drive on tickover for an hour and not lose anything, it only happens when getting on the throttle. No oil in water, no water in oil, header tank not pressurising, no visible leaking, can only assume it’s head gasket on intake side.. When I returned I checked the codes and had the following: P0006A-00 (MAP) this code now has a indicator next to it denoting that this is what has caused the engine management light to be illuminated. The second code is P2263-22 Turbo/supercharge boost system performance. I’m still thinking that P0006A-00 is a code resulting from the problem.

Gearbox problem in XF 3.0 d “S” Portfolio 2009. gearbox fault gearbox traction no traction. I bought my 2009 “S” Portfolio 3.0 diesel just about 3 weeks ago with 56K on the clock. Looking for any ideas why these problems occur. 1. I had a tow bar fitted a few days ago to tow my caravan, the trip was to be from South Wales to Woolacombe in North.. The cam drive is all chain and on the front of the engine. The rubber belt on one end of the cams drives only the water pump. The Audi V6 engines used rubber cogged belt to drive the intake cams at the front and chains to connect the exhaust cams at the rear of the engine. Jaguar did not use this system. Currently 2013 XF V6 SC AWD Caviar on.
